The essence of having the 1st commandment in your life is that it tells other people that there is only one God in your life! Also that he can be the one that helps you out with all your problems in your life. We know that he can always be counted pone when something goes wrong and we need the help of prayers to get us out of that trouble if we ever in it. God can always be the right path in life if we just put our trust in him! This 1st Commandment focuses that God is the Greatest Power in this world, and also that he Awesome in very way possible!

Compare And Contrast: Both of these commadments tell you how to live your life and they both help this world both spiritually and emotionally! These commandments have a very strong bond to those of the catholic teachings so that they respect it as much as they respect themselves! The coomadments teach us that everybody should follow these rules but not much people follow them. Thats the reason God Made that! These commandments have different meaning even though they come from the same God! The first commandment teaches us that there is only one God and no other Gods. Also that we should only worship him! The second commandment states that we should never make fun of God for he is very powerful! He is very spiritual and yet many make of him for being who he is!
